RB Leipzig had almost seized a win only to draw against Hoffenheim

RB Leipzig had almost won their match against Hoffenheim with Yussuf Poulsen’s last-minute header but the player was penalized for handball later and the team had to walk away with a stalemate that gave Bayern Munich a title edge. Leipzig is currently second on the table with 61 points and Bayern now has the chance to increase their lead to seven points with a win over third-placed Wolfsburg and defend the lead later with five more games.

Bayern was recently kicked out of the Champions League race by PSG in midweek and wishes to end the season with a Bundesliga title that would be their ninth back-to-back title. The match remained uneventful as both the teams held off each other well denying the chance to win.
