Real Madrid cannot continue to rely on Benzema alone

Considering Karim Benzema's previous history of injuries, Real Madrid cannot continue to rely only on him. But they also lack a true backup plan for the Ballon d'Or winner. Real Madrid will thus undoubtedly need to add another striker to their team during the summer transfer window. According to certain rumours, they will simply search for a temporary solution to back up Benzema. Dusan Vlahovic appears to be considering signing with Los Blancos, though.

Vlahovic reportedly informed his agency that he wants to sign with Real Madrid. However, given that Juventus only recently acquired Vlahovic from Fiorentina for an estimated transfer cost of roughly €75 million, it may be easier said than done. The striker has a respectable goal total for Juventus, but it seems like he hasn't been allowed to play at his peak because Massimiliano Allegri's team is currently primarily focused on a defensive style of play.
