Real Madrid closes for Rüdiger: past visits and contract until 2026

On the day marked by the official Haaland-Manchester City and Adeyemi-Borussia Dortmund deals, Real Madrid also defines the first shot in view of the 2022/2023 season.

The club, fresh from the League title and about to play in its seventeenth Champions League final, has defined the signing of German defender Antonio Rüdiger, from Chelsea.

The former Roma defender completed his medical tests by signing a four-year contract with the Madrid club, that is, until the summer of 2026.

The salary that the player will receive in the Spanish capital will be approximately 6.8 million, excluding bonuses. Furthermore, he and the agent – ​​i.e. his brother Sahr Senesie – will split a signing bonus of around €35 ​​million.
