Real Madrid’s title-challenging run took a step back when Real Betis held them to a goalless draw on Saturday. They ended up giving the top spot back to Atletico Madrid in La Liga. This raises concerns as the team is about to take on Chelsea on Tuesday for the Champions League semi-final match. Atletico now maintains a two-point lead at the top and might end up extending that to five if they win their match against Athletic Bilbao.

And Barcelona could level up on points as well with Real Madrid if they win over Villarreal. Real Madrid struggled to create chances against Real Betis with an overworked and injury-ridden squad. Against Chelsea, they would be missing Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos, Ferland Mendy, Fede Valverde and Lucas Vazquez.
