Real Madrid outcast wanted by Serie A giants in summer move

AS Roma has expressed interest in signing Andriy Lunin during the summer transfer window. The Serie A heavyweights are interested in numerous Real Madrid players, including the out-of-favor goalie. Andriy Lunin arrived at Real Madrid from Zorya Luhansk in July 2018 amid much fanfare. The 23-year-old was widely considered as one of Europe's greatest young goalkeepers at the time, but his career has halted as he has been forced to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois for the most part.

Lunin was also loaned away three times before returning to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer. However, the Ukrainian international has had to make do with cup outings and has only played twice for Real Madrid this season. As a result, Lunin has grown dissatisfied with his situation at Real Madrid and may leave in the summer.
