Real Madrid secured a victory over Espanyol 4-0

Real Madrid clinched the La Liga title by halftime on Saturday. Carlo Ancelotti's team was victorious after a 4-0 win and clinched the La Liga title with four matches still to go in the season. Karim Benzema has paced the team-leading La Liga in both goals and assists with 26 and 11 respectively. Right behind him stood Vinicius Junior who had 14 goals and 11 assists.

Real Madrid took care of business after they were defeated by Atletico Madrid last season. They will not be content entirely until they get past Manchester City on Wednesday. Some of the players including Benzema, Dani Carvajal, Toni Kroos, Ferland Mendy, and Vinicius Junior were spotted on the bench as Madrid started playing. In the 13th minute, Casemiro set off warning alarms by hitting the post, Rodrygo gave a shot in the 33rd minute after an assist by Marcelo.
