Zinedine Zidane commended Vinicius Jnr who assisted in Real Madrid's winning goal against Inter Milan as he answered all his critics after the Karim Benzema incident last week. The Brazilian entered as a substitute to set up Rodrygo to help Madrid grab their first victory in the Champions League. Until now Real had managed to grab just one point off two group games and was facing a disappointing show as they conceded two goals to give up their lead to the Spanish capital. Zidane's substitution brought momentum back on track when the Brazilian duo entered to defeat Antonio Conte's side. From Madrid’s end, Benzema opened at 25 minutes and Sergio Ramos made doubled the lead at 33 minutes which two minutes in Lautaro Martinez cut in half by scoring for Inter and Ivan Perisic equalized the score in the 68th minute.
