Real Madrid yearn for Olympique Lyon star Houssem Aouar

With the January transfer window open, Real Madrid means serious business chasing after Olympique Lyon star Houssem Aouar while Arsenal turn their attention towards Julian Brandt. The 22-year-old midfielder might soon be changing lanes from Ligue 1 to La Liga. He started his professional career at Lyon after being a part of their youth academy, in 2017 and is counted amongst promising midfielders in Ligue 1 in his 150 appearances he has netted 27 goals with 30 assists.

He has the ability to play as a traditional midfielder or attacking one as per the need. Arsenal has been coveting after the player ever since he started playing but they could not sign him on last summer. Madrid on the other hand a looking for a replacement for Luka Modric, and they will have to sign over a huge chunk of money for the player.
