Jurgen Klopp is on a hunt for a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum and has landed on AS Roma’s midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini. The Netherlands international’s departure has left a hole in Liverpool’s squad and Klopp has made it a priority to seek out a new central midfielder ahead of the new season. After Pellegrini’s impressive performance this season for the Italian side Liverpool FC has submitted a £25.8m bid for the Italian playmaker.
But the player is keen on playing for Roma next season as well and build on his previous campaign for the Serie A side where he scored 7 times and made 6 assists in 34 games. He has been a regular in the AS Roma’s squad for the past four seasons.
