Roma overcame Cagliari 2-1

A good second half handed Roma a victory over Cagliari. Roma followed up their Napoli’s win with a win 2-1 over Cagliari. Roma was favored to win the match while Giallorossi looked fatigued and tired in the first half itself.

Joao Sacramento’s side found a win with a header from Roger Ibañez and an extraordinary free-kick from Lorenzo Pellegrini. Viña though struggled against Cagliari visibly making 22 touches, completing 78% of his passes the 23-year-old left-back but failed to register a single tackle, interception, clearance, key pass, or completed cross. The same was the case for Henrikh Mkhitaryan who had zero shots, zero dribbles, zero key passes, and zero crosses completed. But the 32-year-old attacking midfielder made it almost certain that Mourinho would have to depend on other players like Pellegrini and Tammy Abraham.
