Roma's Spinazzola: 'I am not broken'

Leonardo Spinazzola confessed “it has been quite an intense week” after he went from failed Inter transfer to starring in Roma’s win at Genoa. “It’s madness to think I’m broken”.

The left-back was part of an exchange deal with Matteo Politano, only for Inter to pull the plug after demanding extra fitness as well as medical tests.

So he flew back to Rome and was in the starting XI at Marassi this evening for a 3-1 victory.

“It has been quite an intense week…” smiled Spinazzola on Sky Sport Italia.

“I wanted to put in a good performance and to win, I achieved both. Now we focus on Juve in the Coppa Italia midweek".
