Chelsea and Inter Milan have concurred on an arrangement to offload striker Romelu Lukaku, who they inked a deal with for £97.5m last season. The Belgian showed up at Chelsea tipped to move heaven and earth but instead battled for the most part of the season at Stamford Bridge. Now both the player and Chelsea have concurred that heading out in different directions now was better. He could score just 15 goals in all contests for Chelsea and eight of them came in the Premier League.
Chelsea is shifting focus over to putting more resources into the crew in front of next season. Last January, Lukaku shared in a meeting he was not content with his job at Chelsea and had to openly apologize - yet after the expression of remorse, he was simply never a similar player.
