Romeo Lavia is supposedly on the verge of joining Liverpool for £50 million

Romeo Lavia is supposedly on the verge of joining Liverpool for £50 million from Southampton, beating off competition from the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea. Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis MacAllister are two midfielders that Jurgen Klopp has already signed for the Reds as he continues to restructure his midfield in an effort to get his team back in contention for the Premier League's top spot.

After losing James Milner, Naby Keita, Arthur Melo, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Thiago in the summer, as well as having Thiago and Jordan Henderson linked to moves to Saudi Arabia, it was questioned whether the Reds would sign a third midfielder amid concerns about a logjam in that position. However, the Reds may be able to make room for Lavia. Manu Kone and Khephren Thuram were also objectives for Liverpool, but interest now seems to be focused on Lavia.
