Swedish portal Fotbollskanalen published an extensive interview with Henrik Larsson, in which the former striker lamented the way Ronald Koeman, whose assistant coach, was treated during his time at Barcelona.
The former Swedish international claimed that the Dutch coach "laid good foundations for Barcelona to succeed within a few years", despite the "turbulent" period he has been involved in since Joan Laporta was elected to the club's presidency.
"It wasn't easy. There were days when we got there and we didn't know if it would be the last or if we would continue. It would have been easy to prevent, but for that, you need a much better leadership than the one Laporta showed", he shot.
"For my part, it doesn't bother me too much, but treating Ronald Koeman that way... I think he didn't deserve it given the work he and we did", he concluded.
