The sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United will be one of the transfers subject to investigation by the Italian authorities under 'Operation Prisma', which has already led to several searches carried out with Juventus. The Italian press advances even though the Portuguese international and his manager, Jorge Mendes, may be heard in the scope of the investigation.
Juventus has already confirmed that the Italian tax police carried out new searches of the club. The searches relate to 'Operation Prisma', which investigates documents relating to the purchase and sale of players and the capital gains generated therewith with rights, as well as information regarding the preparation of the financial statements for the 2019-21 period.
According to ANSA, the Italian authority, there are currently six suspects, including the president of Juventus, Andrea Agnelli, vice president Pavel Nedved and former sports director, Fábio Paratici. Named 'Prism', the operation began in May 2021.
