Manchester City’s Centre-Back, Ruben Dias prevails as the “Premier League player of the year” while Pep Guardiola bags the manager’s award for 2020-21. The 24-year-old Portuguese international, moved out of Benfica last year. Since then, Ruben Dias has made 32 appearances and exceptionally contributed to Manchester City. Dias made his mark by uplifting his play by contributing to 15 clean sheets, made 35 interceptions, 24 tackles, 23 blocks, and 135 recoveries. He has played a crucial role in Manchester City’s winning campaign. 

Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola wins the Premier League Manager’s Award for the third time beating Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Leicester’s Brendan Rodgers, West Ham’s David Moyes, and Leeds’ Marcelo Bielsa. The final win was declared by keeping public votes combined with those of 20 club captains and a panel of football experts.
