Sampdoria beats Parma by 3-0

Sampdoria kept Parma at the bottom of the Serie A table after beating them by 3-0 in the final match of the league which was also home coach Claudio Ranieri’s last match as well. Sampdoria player Fabio Quagliarella also appeared in his 500th Serie A match and scored 177th league goal for the side. The 38-year-old scored in the 20th minute and Omar Colley doubled the score at halftime itself and the team came back to score once more with Manolo Gabbiadini scoring the last goal after the break.

Sampdoria marked an end to the current season by finishing in the top half while Parma was dead last three points away from 19th-place Crotone who went 0-0 at home against Fiorentina. Genoa on the other hand found a 1-0 win against Cagliari with Eldor Shomurodov scoring the lone goal.
