Samuel Kalu returned to the team after a serious hamstring injury had sidelined him for time being. Making a comeback with a bang as his assist helped his side to victory at Roazhon Park by 1-0 in Ligue1.
The Nigeria international suffered the injury while fulfilling his international duty for Nigeria in October and could not return to play and thus was ruled out of play for matches against Marseille, Nimes, Monaco, and Montpellier. The player played his part successfully by setting up Hatem Ben Arfa who scored the only goal of the game to give his side the fourth victory of the season.
The Super Eagles star though played for just 57 minutes and was placed by Remi Oudin after he was injured yet again during the match though the severity of it remains unknown and thus a question mark whether he would be able to attend the next Ligue match against PSG.
