Sassuolo enjoyed a 1-0 victory over Sampdoria

Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi scored the only goal of the Serie A match between Sassuolo and Sampdoria, at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Sassuolo later won the match by 1-0 on Saturday thanks to Berardi’s header which was first was blocked later on connecting with the rebound he hit a close-range overhead shot into the goal. Making it his 14th goal of the season.

Sassuolo is working hard for the Europa League spot and has moved within three points of Roma currently who are seventh on the table. Whereas Sampdoria remains 9th on the table and is 10 points behind Sassuolo now. In another match Simeon ``Simy'' Nwankwo hit twice to help Crotone beat second-to-last Parma by 4-3 and Genoa defeated Spezia 2-0.
