Saudi Arabia is prepared to bid for a Barcelona defender

Andreas Christensen, a defender for Barcelona, had a challenging 2024–25 season and missed most of it because of many ailments. Towards the end of the season, the 29-year-old center-half made a comeback and adjusted to Hansi Flick's tactical scheme with ease. Despite this, the Danish center-back's future at Barcelona remains uncertain since his contract expires in 2026. Christensen may now depart Barcelona this summer. Even though injuries have dominated the former Chelsea star's season, he is still a valuable player in the Saudi Pro League.

Despite the lack of a formal offer as of yet, Barça has already received indications that Saudi Arabia is very interested, and offers are anticipated in the upcoming months.
