Saudi team to meet Croatia today in a friendly match

Green Falcons continued their practice in their Riyadh camp on Monday, in preparation for the friendly match as part of the fourth and final phase of the preparatory program for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which kicks off on November 20.

During their practice sessions in Abu Dhabi earlier, the team played five friendly matches against the teams of Macedonia, Albania, Honduras, Iceland, and Panama.

The national team players continued their training session at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium under the supervision of Coach Herve Renard.

Renard announced on Friday the 26-member Green Falcons squad for the World Cup. There are 16 debutants while 10 players were part of the team that played in the Russia World Cup 2018. Midfielder Salman Al-Faraj is the captain. Renard has excluded six players from the final squad.
