Scaloni renews with Argentina national team, reveals Federation president

Chiqui Tapia, president of the Argentine Federation, reported on Wednesday, through social networks, that Lionel Scaloni, Argentine coach, has renewed his contract until 2026.

"I am proud to inform you that we managed to ensure Lionel Scaloni's continuity as a selection until the 2024 World Cup. The full bet on the national teams continues!", can be read in the note published by the president of the Argentine Federation.

It should be noted that Scaloni took over as coach in August 2018 and has, so far, won two titles: the Copa América (2021) and the Intercontinental Final (2022).
