Schalke is more trouble than earlier with 4-1 loss to Borussia Moenchengladbach

Borussia Moenchengladbach came out on top after the two teams clashed at Borussia-Park. Gladbach scored twice on either side of the half to ensure Schalke’s misery continues with their winless run now deepens at 25 matches. Royal Blues were looking forward to beating Gladbach again this year following the 2-0 defeat in January. But the results were quite opposite, Florian Neuhaus put Gladbach ahead in the 15th minute cruising past three defenders and goalkeepers to give the host an early lead.

Benito Raman though leveled the score to offer some respite to Manuel Baum’s team but Gladbach was not ready to yield and Oscar Wendt hit before the first half to hand them back their lead which was carried forward by Marcus Thuram in the 52nd minute and Hannes Wolf in the 80th. Glabdach now finds themselves at the seventh place while Bayern Munich leads the table with 22 points after their 3-1 over VfB Stuttgart.
