Reguilòn has started 11 of Sevilla’s 13 La Liga games to date and has been rested for the early games in the Europa League group stage.
The left full-back is on a season-long loan deal at the Andalusian club from Real Madrid and played in his first Seville derby on Sunday, triumphing 2-1.
“It felt like a Champions League final match,” Reguilòn is cited as saying by ABC de Sevilla.
“We went out to face it this way because this was much more than just three points. The team lived up to the circumstances and now we are savouring the moment.I enjoy each game in a special way but this game has been lived in a very different way from the rest. You notice a very different feeling and a special motivation”.
The 22-year-old is now part of the Spanish national squad following his first ever call-up last month by boss Roberto Moreno but is yet to feature.
