Serie A: Atalanta breaking records

La Dea brushed aside the Giallorossi in the second half after going into half time with the game at 2-2. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side then scored a further five in the second half.

The score line is such a rarity it's only the second time it’s happened in the league’s history.

The first time was in the 1951-52 season, when Juventus beat Udinese on March 30 1952. The only game that has come close to matching that score line was Fiorentina 3-7 Milan in the 1992-93 season, when Ruud Gullit, Marco Van Basten and Daniele Massaro all scored two goals apiece for the Rossoneri in October 1992.
