Serie A: Bologna beat Lecce 3-2

The Salentini's last-second goal in Monza last week clinched Serie A survival, thus this was a joyous event. Roberto Soriano, Adama Soumaoro, and suspended Nico Dominguez were absent for the visitors.

In the first minute, Gallo forced a superb save from Lukasz Skorupski, then Lameck Banda scored with a well-placed right-foot volley on a Gabriel Strefezza pull-back. Moments later, Bologna levelled when Marko Arnautovic advanced and scored with a low, angled shot thanks to a fortunate bounce off a ball by Riccardo Orsolini. However, it was ruled to be offside following a protracted VAR review in the build-up. After Wladimiro Falcone flapped the Musa Barrow free kick away from Orsolini, Arnautovic also struck the upright, but that wouldn't have counted either because of a foul. Although Lewis Ferguson's curler in off the inside of the far post gave Bologna the lead late in stoppage time, Skorupski was again decisive against Alexis Blin.
