Serie A: Inter Milan cements its place on top of the table

Inter finished 1-0 against Hellas Verona and stays on top with a good lead while Chasing them, Juventus faltered with a draw against Fiorentina while Ronaldo’s goal drought stretches to three matches. Matteo Darmian scored the only goal of the match against Hellas Verona, with Achraf Hakimi setting up the defender in the 76th minute at San Siro.

Inter is now 11 points ahead of Atalanta who also saw a big win of 5-0 against Bologna while only five matches are left in the league. AC Milan is third on the table and would take on Lazio next. Inter has a strong chance to take the title this season which would be their first title since 2010.  Defending champions on the other hand have dropped their dream for their 10th back-to-back title after Dusan Vlahovic put  Fiorentinaahead and Morata leveled the score in the end to force a draw.
