Serie A: Inter Milan took over Bologna 6-1

Inter won their third game of the season, 6-1, to end Bologna's unbeaten streak and go to the top of the table with a few games remaining. After Lautaro Martinez, Milan Skriniar, Nicolo Barella, and Matias Vecino gave the hosts a four-goal lead, substitute Edin Dzeko scored two late goals. With four minutes to go, Arthur Theate drew one back for Bologna. The result came after two disappointing performances for Inter, including a draw at Sampdoria last weekend and a Champions League loss at home to Real Madrid.

Lautaro got the ball rolling against Bologna by deflecting a Denzel Dumfries cross six minutes into the game at the San Siro for his fourth goal in as many games. On the half-hour mark, Skriniar rose unopposed to meet a corner with an on-target header, and four minutes later, Barella completed another devastating counterattack. After halftime, Vecino scored a tap-in, and Dzeko scored two goals.
