Milan have scored three or more goals in three consecutive Serie A games for the first time since 2012, but also kept three straight home clean sheets.
The Diavolo flattened Empoli 3-0 on Friday with goals from Krzysztof Piątek, Franck Kessiè and Samu Castillejo.
That was their third Serie A victory on the bounce, having beaten Cagliari 3-0 at San Siro and Atalanta 3-1 in Bergamo.
The last time Milan had got three goals in three top flight matches in a row was all the way back in 2012.
In 2012, they earned a 3-1 victory away to Catania on November 30, 4-2 at Torino, then crushed Pescara 4-1 on December 16.
It’s not all about the attack, though, because Gennaro Gattuso’s side are also the first Milan to secure three consecutive Serie A home clean sheets since May 2014.
