Seven Chelsea players to miss Burnley encounter

Chelsea will visit Turf Moor to take on Burnley in today's Premier League matchday eighth fixture. Despite a dwindling injury list, the Blues will be without several key players for this meeting.

The London side announced on Friday a list of seven injured players who will be unable to help their team in the English top-flight. Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah are already taking part in Chelsea's training sessions but are not yet fully recovered to return to action.

English left-back Benjamin Chilwell, who is suffering from a hamstring injury, is already starting his rehabilitation programme but is not expected to return to action until December.

Marcus Bettinelli, Wesley Fofana, Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia have yet to recover and it's unknown when they will return to training with the Blues.
