Manager Julen Lopetegui and sporting director Monchi, have overseen a major first team overhaul this summer, with ten new players arriving at the Estadio Ramòn Sànchez Pizjuàn.
However, with Pablo Sarabia completing his move from Andalucia to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, Lopetegui is now in the market for a new right sided midfielder for the 2019-20 La Liga campaign.
Loptegui has reportedly been on the trail of PSV winger Steven Bergwijn, however they have been quoted a fee of €35m for the Dutch international, following a strong 2018-19 season in the Eredivisie.
A high asking price for Bergwijn, now appears to have opened the door to a potential move for Suso, with the 25-year old reportedly keen on a return to Spain from Ac Milan and experienced in Europe.
