Sevilla striker Javier Hernandez eyes MLS move

The 31-year-old has scored just three goals since his €7.8m summer move from English club West Ham United and has been limited to just three starts in La Liga.

Hernandez has found opportunities limited with Dutch international striker Luuk de Jong preferred as the central striker for the majority of the season.

“Yes, definitely,” he told the LA Times when asked if he had thought about continuing his career in the U.S.

“Look, I am always thinking about my future. I want to be as open as I can to any opportunity. MLS is a league that is improving. It is an opportunity. Every league is an opportunity.”

The striker joined English club Manchester United from Guadalajara in 2010 in a deal worth €7.5m, and netted 20 goals in his debut season at Old Trafford.
