Both Marca and El Desmarque are among the outlets to lead the coverage of the 23-year-old’s move to the Andalusian club this week.
Born in Brazil, Lopes spent his youth career at Benfica and Manchester City but joined Monaco in 2015 and, aside from a season on loan at Lille, has spent the time since at the club.
Lopes move to Sevilla is thought to be part of the deal which takes striker Wissam Ben Yedder to the Ligue 1 club - with his valuation of €40m from his release clause perhaps lowering the transaction in real terms.
Sevilla have already made 11 signings this summer including Munas Dabbur, Diego Carlos, Jules Koundé, Joan Jordán, Sergio Reguilón, Lucas Ocampos, Fernando, Luuk De Jong, Nemanja Gudelj and Óliver Torres.
