Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri levels with Benzema and Moreno as top goal scorer

En-Nesyri scored against Elche for Sevilla to finish 2-0 in La Liga and advance ahead in the tournament. The Morocco international is now level with Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema and Villarreal’s Gerard Moreno in the goal scorer’s table at the top. He enjoys 15 goals in the current campaign and is running for the Golden Boot in joint-third position alongside France and Spain internationals. Second place is enjoyed by Atletico Madrid's Luis Suarez who has 18 goals and two assists and the first is held by Barcelona's Lionel Messi with 21 goals and 7 assists.

While the first half was uneventful with a draw but En-Nesyri scored for Los Nervionenses in the 43rd minute with an assist by Suso. At the last-minute Franco Vazquez scored once as well to seal the three points with an assist from Oliver Torres. Sevilla is fourth on the La Liga table with 54 points.
