Sofyan Amrabat effectively confirmed his departure from Fiorentina

The international from Morocco was one of the top performers in Friday night's Conference League Final and controlled the midfield, but the Hammers were far more proficient with their finishing and came out on top with a Jarrod Bowen counterattack in the 87th minute. Fiorentina had lost twice in the past two weeks, most recently against Inter in the Coppa Italia on May 24 by the same score of 2-1.

Amrabat posted on Instagram, "I'm glad to have been part of this squad, we gave it everything all season and together we reached two finals. Although Fiorentina will only accept a loan with an obligation to purchase, Barcelona is still the first choice, just as they were in January after advancing Morocco to the 2022 World Cup semifinal. However, their financial difficulties are still a concern.
