Southampton fights back in Premier League

Saints are fighting their way back in the Premier League after the international break as they put an end to their out-of-form run. Their season so far has been a blow after blow with piling losses and injury mishaps affecting their squad’s quality and top that off with poor refereeing decisions. But after a win over Sheffield United and Burnley helped them grow their confidence back to what it was at the start of the season.
Danny Ings and Theo Walcott were part of the Sunday squad adding depth to their squad that was missing for four months now. They seemed strong against Clarets with a healthy lineup without Oriol Romeu and made a comeback after being two down to ultimately win the match with 3-2. Ings inspired the team to a comeback after returning from a long injury and ease the fears of dropping to Premier League relegation. They are now 10 points in the clear of the red zone and have eight matches left to maintain the form. Burnley duo Chris Wood and Matej Vydra first put Burnley on top but Ings assisted Stuart Armstrong and scored one himself to level the score and Nathan Redmond scored the winner.
