Southampton sees Tammy Abraham as their new striker

With the commencement of the new Premier League season in just a week, Southampton are now short of a reliable striker. The team's best striker Danny Ings made a move to Aston Villa for £25 million. Now that The Saints have some money in their hands, they can eye for a big player that can fit well with the team. Southampton have shown some keen interest in Chelsea's young forward, Tammy Abraham. Earlier they were looking out for a loan deal with Chelsea but The Blues are consistent on their demand of a permanent move. The Saints' main concern is that they are not the only ones in the race to bag Tammy. The Gunners are also looking for a striker and have an eye on the 23-year-old.

Tammy Abraham has a lot of potential and it is not possible for him to open his wings fully by staying at Chelsea. Even the club knows it and that’s why they are happy to let him go. Tammy has scored 6 goals and has given 1 assist in 22 matches last season.
