Spain’s New Youngest Goalscorer Ansu Fati

Spain and Ukraine’s match saw a record-breaking goal by Fati in the 32nd minute becoming the country’s youngest player at the age of 17, 311 days to score a goal. Breaking the record of Juan Errazquin, who scored a goal for Spain in 1925 at 18 years, 344 days.

Spain’s coach Luis Enrique was surprised by the level of confidence the player displayed during the match, the 17-year-old was mature enough to handle the pressure of the game.

Spain won the match 4-0 against Ukraine and now leads its Nations League group with four points, next is Ukraine with three points, Germany with two, and Switzerland with one in Group 4 of League A.

Making his start for Spain by putting the ball through Tymchyk’s legs defending the ball he almost scored from a bicycle kick but couldn’t but later on, he shot from a long-range and went in off the post. The player has at such a young age put on a stellar performance for Barcelona as well.
