Spalletti: 'the first half was embarrassing'

Spalletti said, "Winning was essential, and with the victory, things look much better."

Spalletti continued: "When analyzing the match, of course we have to do more. We are not satisfied, and the players are also not satisfied with themselves. Sometimes we only did the minimum, and some situations in the first half were frankly embarrassing."

He added: "The players relaxed a bit after the break, and we became calmer with the ball when making decisions."

Spalletti pointed to the importance of tactical changes and the introduction of Luis Openda to strengthen the attack, saying: "I tried to make some changes in the first half as well, but I was afraid of causing more confusion."
