Sporting Braga, a new suitor for Collado

The future of Alex Collado is one of the big unknowns for Barcelona with just over a week to go until the transfer window closes.

After the two options he had in Belgium have been discarded, the option of Portugal now appears. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Sporting Braga have asked for the player.

Barcelona and Sporting Braga have a good understanding after both clubs reached an agreement for Francisco Trincao and Abel Ruiz.

The Portuguese club want Collado to arrive on loan with an option to buy. However, before that, he will have to convince a player who prioritises playing in a team that plays in the Champions League.

So Collado has a difficult task ahead of him. Fighting at Barcelona, where he does not have a first team squad number, or going to a team in a lower category where he can have minutes.
