Spurs target Borussia Monchengladbach's Marcus Thuram

Spurs would have to deal with England captain Harry Kane's departure soon after Euro 2020. This transfer window thus they are in the hunt for a forward and have set their eye on Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram. Both the clubs are involved in the advanced stage of negotiations at this moment. Thuram is the son of French World Cup winner Lilian and netted double-digit goals for the Bundesliga side in two seasons.

He is part of France's 26-man squad for Euro 2020 this summer after scoring ten goals in his debut Bundesliga season which finished fourth in 2020 but this season was more challenging for Gladbach and they finished eighth and missed out on European qualification next season. As for Harry Kane, he could have a new home in Chelsea and Manchester United’s squad.
