Strasbourg deny Rennes winning goal to hold them back in a draw.

Stade Rennais had started out this season at the forefront but with just one win off 11 matches, they drop to 6th rank in the table. Rennes substitute Adrien Hunou ensured the draw by scoring an equalizer after midfielder Adrien Thomasson scored for bottom dwellers Strasbourg in the middle of the first half. The match ended in a 1-1 draw denying both the teams a win over the other.

Adrien Hunou did get an opportunity to score for Rennes but failed to convert the same. Alsace side's had already suffered a setback when centre-back Stefan Mitrovic was handed a red card for fouling Serhou Guirassy who was ultimately replaced by Hunou and 10-men Strasbourg entered the second half with a 1-0 lead without their influential player.
