Strasbourg registers a loss against Lille in Ligue 1

The new Ghana recruit was seen desperate for a win as Racers lost their match on the home ground against Lille in the French top-flight league clash. Defender Alexander Djiku could not prevent Strasbourg 3-0 loss to Lille as Thierry Laurey’s men came in with huge hope after facing thumping of 3-0 at Monaco. Mehmet Celik scored the first goal for Lille in the 21st minute past goalkeeper Bingourou Kamara. Later Renato Sanches got in a second goal at the 53rd minute and Laurey’s side faced further embarrassment as Burak Yilmaz scored the third. Strasbourg now stands at 18th place with just three points from 6 games and Lille rank second with 14 points
