Sheffield United takes their first win in the Premier League season finally after struggling to find a win for so long, ending their 20-match winless run when Billy Sharp converted a penalty to win 1-0 over 10-men Newcastle. The Blades still find themselves at the bottom of the points table with 9 more points to go to safety but the Magpies could find themselves right in the middle of the relegation fight if they do not fight for their place at 15th though or lose their 8 points lead over the bottom three teams.
Sheffield United put on a show on Tuesday controlling possessions 67 percent of the time and shot 17 times to find a win. Newcastle was reduced to 10 when Ryan Fraser was handed a red card at the 45th minute.
