Ten Hag gave the go-ahead and United will advance for Pogba's successor

The interest is not new, but it now promises to intensify. Kalvin Phillips is wanted by Manchester United and the new coach of the red devils, Erik Ten Hag, has already given the approval to his hiring, so United will even move forward to negotiations with Leeds.

The information was released on Wednesday by The Athletic portal, which even guarantees that the 26-year-old English international is a priority for the red devils who will be willing to go ahead with an offer of around 60 million euros.

The same publication also adds that Kalvin Phillips is seen as the ideal successor to Paul Pogba, a French midfielder who is at the end of his contract and will leave United at the end of the season.
