The Bluebirds were keen to land Chidera Ejuke

Chidera Ejuke, a summer transfer target for Cardiff City, is reportedly likely to join Belgian champions Royal Antwerp. Some believed that the Bluebirds' pursuit of the 25-year-old Super Eagles starlet would have been almost as thrilling as the arrest of Aaron Ramsey. Cardiff's audacious attempt to complete the trade, meanwhile, was derailed by reports that Ejuke was also in contact with a Champions League team.
