The difficult teams Rangers and Aberdeen could face in Europa League play-offs

Rangers and Aberdeen are safely through to the Europa League third round qualifying stage.

The Gers weren't at their best against Progres Niederkorn in Luxembourg with a 0-0 draw, but went through 2-0 on aggregate.

Derek McInnes' side, meanwhile, were in red hot form with a 5-0 win over Chikhura at Pittodrie.

Steven Gerrard's men will face Midtjylland in the next round, while the Dons will square off against Rijeka.

But even if both teams progress, they still have a another round of qualfiers to navigate before they reach the group stage.

And there are definitely some difficult opponents in the mix with Rangers and Aberdeen unseeded if they progress, with both teams in either side of the draw.

So who could they come up against? Here's the teams Rangers could face: PSV Eindhoven, Wolves, Legia Warsaw.

And for Aberdeen: Sparta Prague/Trabzonspor, Feyenoord, Espanyol.
