The Champions League opened its doors Tuesday. Chelsea and Dinamo Zagreb were the first teams to face each other in the most prestigious competition on the Old Continent.
Mislav Orsic scored the first goal of this new edition of the tournament. Contrary to predictions, Dinamo Zagreb took advantage of Chelsea after just thirteen minutes of play.
The Croatian, who had already scored three times in the preliminary round, opened the scoring against one of the great candidates to win the tournament, Chelsea at that time still under Thomas Tuchel.
Last season, the first goal of the Champions League was scored by Cristiano Ronaldo in the game between Manchester United and Young Boys.
