The future of David Datro Fofana is up in the air

After being called back from his loan at Union Berlin, David Datro Fofana's future is uncertain, although reports suggest Burnley is interested in acquiring the striker. The Athletic’s David Ornstein is saying that Burnely are considering a deal to recruit Fofana as Vincent Kompany is ready to enhance his team this month to ward off relegation from the Premier League. The Clarets, who are now five points outside of safety in 19th place in the Premier League rankings, have had a challenging first half of the season.

Kompany's team will have a challenging difficulties ahead of them, but fresh faces may be able to boost the group. This month, Fofana was called back from his loan to Union Berlin; Sevilla was supposed to receive the 21-year-old. However, the Standard says that Ian Maatsen's decision to join Borussia Dortmund in the current transfer window has put that move in jeopardy.
