After a few silent weeks, The Blues have come to life with an announcement.
Evertons are looking at three deals, all in the last lag of finalizing, with Allan Marques Loureiro, of Napoli, James Rodriguez, of Madrid, and Abdoulaye Doucoure, of Watford.
A deal worth £25 million is made for Doucoure, with the deal amount of the rest still unclear. All three are being targeted with the motive to improve the midfield play of The Hornets.
If all the deals fall through there could be someone leaving The Blues this season, Jean-Philippe Gbamin.
The defensive midfielder has had a rocky few years at the club, even after costing the club £25 million, Gbamin has made only two appearances with his debut campaign being cut short because of an injury, putting him out of play till 2021. Even in the future when he comes back, Goodison Park might not the place for him to start.
